Z’scape was tasked with transforming and enhancing the children’s play area at Anlan Hotel. The landscape design echoes the architectural formal language and, while respecting the site’s original conditions, comprehensively considers the behavioral habits and daily needs of users across all age groups. Through a series of simple yet playful patterns, as well as the design of children’s play equipment and outdoor facilities, the functional versatility of the space is effectively expanded. Meanwhile, by integrating and organizing micro-terrain and vegetation, a green, nature-friendly, and pleasant shaded activity space is created. This enhances the appeal of Anlan Hotel’s exterior environment and shapes a distinctive and recognizable sense of place unique to Anlan.
