The Mountain Kindergarten is situated in the southeast corner of the site. In its landscape design, it embraces the theme of “Kindergarten in Nature.” The natural elements of “lakes,” “mountains,” “forests,” “open grasslands,” “vegetable fields,” and “sand dunes” are integrated into the space. This design respects children’s senses and innate curiosity, encouraging them to explore alongside a level gaze. Nature serves as humanity’s home, and the landscape design draws inspiration from the natural terrain’s undulations, the hues of plants, and the changing seasons. By creating a space with minimal artificial structures, the design aims to ignite children’s creativity and boundless imagination. The varying spatial dimensions, textures, and slopes inspire exploration through actions like jumping, crawling, climbing, rolling, and balancing. Within this “kindergarten within a kindergarten,” spaces like the water play area, rooftop landscape playground, and vegetable planting zones form miniature worlds, enriching children’s perception and experience of the external environment.
